For our 1st show of April:

*Our first guest is a highly trending candidate for Congress out of Texas, because he has been chosen for Bill Maher's "Tweet Sixteen" group of Congressional candidates vying for Real Time with Bill Maher's help to "Flip A District."

Lt. Col. Wesley Reed's Dad was also a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air National Guard.  Reed enlisted in the Navy. He attended the USMC' Officer Candidate School (OCS) at Quantico, eventually becoming Lieutenant Colonel.

Reed retired from the military and has been a pilot for Fed Ex since 2000.  He has been married to his wife Lori for 19 years.  They have 3 children, aged 15, 14 and 12.

Reed describes himself as a Democrat through and through and seeks to restore civility to the (little d) democratic process.

*Our second Congressional guest is Virginia Conlon, running in NC's 13th Congressional District in a 3-way primary.

Conlon came to the Raleigh, NC area 21 years ago and brought her spirit of commitment to public service with her.  She has worked with Meals-on-Wheels, Triangle Red Cross, and the NC Museum of Art as a docent.  She has also worked for the Food Bank of NC in the Central and Eastern regions.

Conlon has proudly raised a family and a small business and she is ready to bring a "can do" spirit to represent NC in DC.

*Our 3rd guest is NM Public Ed. Comm. (District 10) Jeff Carr.  He is dedicated to the success of Public Education & will lead an important discussion on Education/Public Ed, following our interview.

Carr received a BA in Social Studies Ed. from LSU and a MA in History from La. Tech.  Carr is currently teaching at Taos High School in Taos, NM.

Sounds like a great show...Let's get the conversation going...
