Jim Bono is President/Founder of Brain Injury Resource Group (501c3), an organization of brain injury survivors. Each of us lives through a confusing barrage of emotional, physical, and cognitive daily struggles. We understand from firsthand experience how life altering this is. What we are doing is compassionately working together to help people regain their sense of humanity and significance in the world after a brain injury... knowing its possible!   See thebirg.org

This is about you, the survivor on the other end listening right now. This is about that person whom cares enough to stick around and be a caregiver (which is by far the single most under recognized job in the world). This is about the simple fact that society looks at a person differently when they hear the word traumatic brain injury, stroke, epilepsy, etc… This is about the stigma that comes with the word “Disabled” which far too often is misunderstood as “Un-abled”. This is about so much more and finally, much needed change is occurring. Comprised of survivors and caregivers, this group looks at brain injury for what it is, a global epidemic!

This show is a gathering place for anyone seeking recovery from the challenges of life on life's terms. We discuss useful tools that help us on our journey through recovery. This is a "we" recovery program, because it is in the "we," that we find the new "me."

We focus on the four A's of Recovery: Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adaptation.

Front part of show is a featured guest. Second is Open Mic & Indy Music sure to inspire! Host is Kim Justus, author of In a Flash: Miracles Here and Beyond found at inaflash.org & "Like" at facebook.com/inaflash.org
