Investing in a Rental property - Part II

After an unprecedented drop in housing prices, many investors are buying up rental properties all over the US. Plus "turnkey investment services" have cropped up to help you buy, fix-up, find tenants and "manage everything for you". Should you also invest in rental properties?

In April we started a series of shows on Real Estate Investing and we couldn't cover everything you need to know about investing in rental properties in 1 show - so we're continuing that topic. If you buy a rental property or 2 or maybe 3 - what returns can you expect, what are the risks, what should you study up on, and how do you get started?

These are among the many topics we'll cover on this show. We'll also finish the checklist of 30 topics you should be versed on before venturing into rental properties on your own. Real estate investing like any investing has rewards and it has risks. Unlike most "passive" investments in Wall Street products, or other alternative investments, real estate investing is secured by a tangible asset. Unfortunately, rentals require some work, plus cash reserves for when things that "can't possibly go wrong" - do go wrong!

Whether you already own rental properties, are considering it, or just want to understand why it might be attractive some day … join us ...
