Join Jenn McRobbie of The Author Incubator as she talks with Dana Ayers on the writing and publishing of her book, Confessions of an Unlikely Runner.

For Dana, her book is a vision come to life. As a runner, she would use visualization to help her get through races. She did the same visualization to get her book done by imagining herself holding the finished book before she even wrote it and also imagining her readers holding it and laughing.

She blogged about several topics and one that she wrote a lot about is endurance challenges. It fell into place as the topic to write about as she realized she could entertain people with her personal stories of the challenges of running and also encourage them to run. The book became an instant success in running groups.

Dana's experience with her book has been a fun and rewarding experience, having appeared on TV, traveled the country and met other people in the fitness/encouragement world. She had also received messages from people telling her of their own personal journeys which she found very inspiring.
