Join Jenn McRobbie, Vice President of The Author Incubator as she interviews author Jackie Viramontez on the writing and publishing of her book, I Can't Believe I Dated Him.

Before writing her book, Jackie didn't realize that what she had to say was enough. She was hounded be the tendency to be a perfectionist and it blocked what she truly wanted to say. But through meditation, she was able to envision her book completed even before she began writing and that was how it started.

Her topic for the book concerns relationships. She was able to pick one she liked by narrowing down a list of emotions that would arise in relationships. She settled for something that many of her clients find themselves in and where she herself had been in. "As soon as I created that personal connection, the creativity flowed," she admitted.

Finishing the book was a real accomplishment for Jackie because she had attempted to write at least 70 books in the past but failed to get any of them off the ground. Now she believes that if a goal (like writing a book) doesn't have a calendar date, it won't get done.
