Author Shelly revealed this book was something that she really wanted. "I’d written in my journal the year before, a story about myself," she said. The story began with: "She sat down and wrote a book about love...” Shelly went back to her journals one day and she read the story and thought, I have to DO IT. No one else can make that happen for me. If I want the story to come true, I have to sit down and do it.
