Tonight Bonnie Kaye welcomes author T. Ian Zucker, whose first book of a three book trilogy, Sentinels of Atlantis,  has just been released by Tate Publishing. Zucker has been in education for many years, and he is currently the Assistant Principal of Weiser High School in Idaho. He also founded and directs an incredible mentoring program for teenagers who are at-risk named Arrow-Heart Adventure Camps (www.Arrow-Heart.com) which he is working to expand nationally.

His book Sentinels of Atlantis is classified as a science fiction/fantasy novel. According to Zucker, "We combined mythology, a little history and a lot of imagination to create Atlantis.” The story starts with a powerful tropical storm that has engulfed former Marine Captain Drake Mallory's boat. He sails off the Bermuda islands to escape the tragic death of his fiance, Drake guides his boat towards the radio signal of a mystery ship. Little does he know of the ship's connection with the legend of the Bermuda Triangle where he will soon find he has made the discovery of a lifetime; the lost civilization of Atlantis.

Zucker's uncle, B.L. Bowling, also collaborated on the book. Zucker is currently writing the sequel to Sentinels of Atlantis. It will be titled The Heir of Atlantis and will pick up several years from where the first story left off.

You can see the website for the book and how to purchase it at: www.sentinelsofatlantis.tateauthor.com.
