Music Matters

Music that matters is a panel discussion about the music industry and about being an independent music artist. The panel will consist of music artists who are seasoned veterans and newcomers to the music industry. They will discuss their experiences as independent artists, being a woman and the role of women in the music industry, financing their careers, being independent versus signing to a label, does social media hurt or help independent music artists, and more. We will also play music from each of the panelists and discuss their future moves as they navigate through this tough and harsh music industry.
