Tonight we discuss the infamous social network we all love or may even hate–“FACEBOOK”

It is rumored that Facebook ruins relationships. Psychologists say Facebook can lead to extreme jealousy and unhealthy, addictive scrambling to find evidence of cheating, or thoughts of cheating. Some people even use the social networking site to make their partner jealous by flirting, knowing it will show up on the news feed or that their partner will be searching their page.

Even monogamous, healthy relationships can have problems because of the site. If an ex contacts a committed person, the partner could see it and become jealous, though it wasn't intentional and the committed person had nothing to do with it. Facebook can also bring to light the things you never knew about your partner, and may be shocked to find out. If you don't have a Facebook, but your partner does, you may look at his page to discover it says "single."

By checking your partner's Facebook, they have become friends with promiscuous members of the opposite sex that you don't know. You might also come across old photos or wall posts that can disturb you.
