Saturday August 22ndHealth Care Reform Bill Fact vs Fiction:
There are over 40 million Americans without health care.

Tonight's Discussion: A study, commissioned by the consumer health advocacy group Families USA, found 86.7 million Americans were uninsured at one point during the past two years. These are uncontainable numbers and represent truly the battle of life and death as well as the quality of life many will have. The lack of insurance will mean Americans will not have preventive screenings or maintain a regular Doctor.

BKS1 Radio team along with our new member, Political Analyst Charles D Ellison, joins the debate and ask the questions that our listeners need to know about the H.R. 3200- America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009. How will this Bill affect our families directly? Will we have a choice? Will small businesses suffer penalties and extra taxation? Is providing universal health care the government ultimate civic duty or is this the first step towards socialism or even worse communism as the right winged conservatives would have us all believe?

Special Guest: Tonight we welcome a New BKS1 Radio Team mate, author of the critically-acclaimed political thriller TANTRUM, Huffington Post and Politico.com contributor,Host of "The New School" on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio Channels Charles D Ellison.

Based in Washington,D.C., he is Senior Fellow in Public Policy and Chief Advisor for the Center for New Politics and Policy at the University of Denver and Visiting Fellow for the Institute for Politics, Democracy and the Internet at George Washington University.
