Kim Huggens has been studying the Tarot since the age of 9, and is a professional reader, workshop leader & speaker. She is the author of the book, “Tarot 101: Mastering the Art of Reading the Cards” (Llewellyn, 2010), a homestudy Tarot course that takes the reader from beginner to professional level in 22 integrated lessons.

She is the co-author of “Sol Invictus: the God Tarot” (Schiffer Books, 2007) with artist & friend Nic Phillips, a fully-illustrated 78-card deck exploring the many faces of the Divine Masculine through world mythology & the archetypes of the Tarot. Kim gives talks & workshops on Tarot & her other research interests around the UK, & writes articles on various aspects of working with the cards.

Kim learned to read the cards best by sitting in pubs & reading for strangers in return for drinks, and thus the deck she has been reading with for the last 11 years is battered, stained, smells and feels a little bit sticky… She wouldn’t have it any other way.
