For every LeBron James, Michael Phelps or Peyton Manning, there are thousands of athletes who will never become millionaires from their sports careers. Training to be a world-class athlete is demanding and leaves little time to gain traditional experience through part-time jobs. Some athletes feel that this negatively positions them for career options when ultimately they do retire from sport.

What about the Olympic or Paralympic athlete? Many of these athletes give up the pursuit of a career for representing their country. Some countries claw and scratch just to get their athlete to the games. Few come home with endorsements and a medal. Life sacrifices are made for the opportunity to achieve a dream.

Whether you are an athlete, coach or parent, you need to find out how to make preparations for life after sports. Join us in conversation LIVE with Sharie Angle of Adecco Wednesday, November 28th @ 7PM EST at BEYONDtheCheers on blogtalkradio. Dial-in TOLL FREE 1-877-357-2448 in Canada and United States to ask a question, or email in advance.
