Join us with Joseph L. Giacalone, a law enforcement supervisor with an extensive background in criminal investigations and a specialty in Crime and Deviance. He was also Commanding Officer of the Cold Case Homicide Squad and author of "The Criminal Investigative Function".
Joseph has a Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis in Crime and Deviance form John Jay College of Criminal Justice where he now serves as an Adjust professor teach many courses in various area of emphasis in the criminal justice field.
Joseph's 19 year law enforcement career put in in many positions in the force which led to the development of his extensive expertise in various investigation types including; homicide, suicide, missing persons and cold cases. He eventually landed what he considers to be his favorite position severed, Commanding Officer of the Cold Case Homicide Squad. His accomplishments and dedication also earned him the police forces prestigious Medal of Valor.
