We will be joined by Dr. Eric Hickey and Dr Katherine Ramsland.

As the phenomena of serial killer continues to be investigated and studied many new facts continue to come to life.  However even though our knowledge of serial killers and their motives continues to grow and change what seems to stay the same for most is the image one has of such a offender.

Most often imagine a white, middle class male in their 30s or 40s, loner types.  But as Dr . Hickey will explain, such a myopic view is what continues to limit our understanding of serial killers, their methods and their motivations.

What about women, adolescents, non white killers? In this show we will discuss serial killers who challenge both the typical stereotypes and our understanding of why some chose to kill.

Katherine will also be ofering her insight in this phenomena. Dr. Katherine Ramsland teaches forensic psychology and criminal justice at DeSales University and is the author of 40 books. Among them is The Mind of a Murderer and The Human Predator, a history of serial murder. Her expertise is psychopaths and extreme offenders.
