Kathy LaTour, Editor at Large of CURE Magazine, returns for the CURE quarterly feature. While the care plan is understandably aimed at the patient, it's the caregivers who take on duties that often mirror healthcare professionals. Spouses, parents, siblings, and friends are among the millions of "angels" helping loved ones through the battle on a daily basis.

Don Vaughan says "caregivers are key to transitioning patients throughout the course of care." His recent story in CURE Magazine highlights crucial elements of caregiver responsibility and available resources to efficiently carry it out. Don Vaughan will come alongside Kathy LaTour to address the impact of care transitions on the patient and family caregivers, as well as the myriad of challenges that frequently occur.

This episode expands upon a previous conversation with founder of "The Caregiver Space", Adrienne Gruberg. Her vision come true of a virtual support network for family and professional caregivers helps them manage and cope with those ongoing challenges -- in a 24/7 format. Adrienne's experience of caregiving for both her husband and mother-in-law parallels survivor Kathy LaTour's journey in caring for and subsequently losing her mother to breast cancer.

Join us for an up-close and personal talk about what it takes to be an informed, effective team member for your loved one. Between guests Don and Kathy, and co-hosts Maryann and Rob, there will be a wealth of insight shared about the caregiver's role in battling cancer, as well as other life-altering journeys.
