Lokvig's book entitled, Alzheimer's A to Z: A Quick-Reference Guide, has been translated into Portuguese, Spanish, and Japanese. It's been celebrated as a "uniquely effective guide for caregivers," with combined medical expertise of a medical doctor and practical wisdom of an experienced caregiver.
We'll discuss a plethora of topics with Lokvig, including: coaching, agitation, diet, driving, hallucinations, listening, medication, obsessive behavior, pets, routines, singing, undressing, vitamins, word substitution, and more. Lokvig holds a PhD in management with a specialty in Alzheimer's care and a master's degree in Art Education.
