You’ve heard of them, may have even met one or two, but have you ever wondered what makes them tick? On our final radio show of 2013, Monday, December 30, from 7 – 8 p.m., Because Hope Matters is going to find out what motivates a person to dedicate his life to helping those in need.

Scott Saxe has served on the Board of Trustees for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) since 2007 and from 2009-2012 was the Board President of the Illinois Chapter. In addition to his local role, he currently is Chair of the national Board of Representatives. Scott also serves on the Board of Directors for Community Health Charities – Midwest Region. Recently, Scott joined the Illinois Advocacy Committee for the American Heart Association. He stays involved with several other health charities, as well, and is passionate about improving lives and raising awareness. ??Wanting to have an even greater impact, Scott founded the Illinois Coalition for Advocacy, Responsibility and Education (ICARE) an advocacy coalition in Illinois to foster collaboration among health organizations and to have a stronger voice in Springfield. Scott also Co-Founded The Sustainable Giving Foundation to assist non-profits in creative funding solutions.

Join us for a great conversation with Scott and what motivates him to dedicate his entire life to helping others.
