Hands Up Don’t Shoot. A Conversation From Ferguson

Mainstream media is dancing around issues and releasing images to frame the people of Ferguson, MO as anything but what they really are, a community that is tired of systematic and generational racism and abuse.

A Gurlz Guide On-Air  sat down with Aryka Chapman as she and her good friend Tiffany Flowers returned from their trip to Ferguson, MO on a relief mission to bring aid to protesters.

We talked about what she saw, how they were able to help, who the heroes were that we may never hear about and what we can all do to get involved.
