Lens of Change—a photographic journey to find myself through empowering women.

Lilian Foreman has owned Indulgences Hair and Body Salon since 1981. She brought the first day spa concept to San Antonio at that time. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University Class of 1977 and has her degree in journalism with a minor in art, photography, psychology, floral design, and English. She is a member of the National Styles Team and an accomplished master stylist, makeup artist, and photographer and owns  Une Femme Photographie specializing in women’s and Boudoir photography. Her articles have been published across the United States and in Southwest Airlines Magazine and she currently writes a weekly column for the Eden, Texas Echo newspaper. In her spare time, she is finishing up her soon to be released book—“Stories from Behind the Green Chair”.Sometimes you have to lose yourself to find yourself.  Often you may never really know who you are, to begin with.  The latter was my case.  I listened to everyone else’s thoughts about who I was but it wasn’t until I discovered the real me through my personal boudoir photography session in 1990 that totally changed my life--forever.  I also know that it has helped me to connect with many other women who have been empowered through my journey as well. Life is viewed through our eye lenses. On my journey, I use my eyes as well as my camera to capture not only the real image but the essence of the woman herself. We peel away the layers of self-doubt, insecurity, self-hate, lack of personal identity, self-loathing to discover the true self and integrity of a woman.  We look for and find the truths that simply need to be identified and given light.  And this is where a woman becomes completely free to shape her future and become liberated no matter what the age. 210-384-0134 to book an appointment.
