When begining the quest as an adult adoptee:A), you may have feelings of being disloyal; as if you may not being faithful to your adoptive family.  B) The serach process may take longer than you hoped for.  C)  The outcome may not be what you expected; there may not be a wish to have a relatoinship on both sides, different lifestyles may exisit, or maybe your fantasies are not at all the realtiy you encounter.
4. Have a support structure and understand that adoption reunification is a process and real people with real lives and real feelings are involved.
