Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes thriller novelist Matt Coyle to this LIVE broadcast.  Matt kindly sent me his first book "Yesterday's Echo" and the soon to be released "Night Tremors" and after reading both, it occurs to me that he might just be following in the footsteps of the great Robert Crais.  Here is what I learned about Matt.  Matt Coyle grew up in Southern California, battling his brother and sisters for respect and the best spot on the couch in front of the TV. He knew he wanted to be a writer at the age of twelve when his father gave him THE SIMPLE ART OF MURDER by Raymond Chandler. YESTERDAY'S ECHO is Matt's first novel. He drew from his days in the restaurant business and his extended family's law enforcement background in creating this book. Matt lives in San Diego with his wife, Deborah, and their Yellow Lab, Angus.  For more about author Matt Coyle, please visit his website at http://mattcoylebooks.com.  This is a LIVE interview with the author so please join the conversation by calling to say hello and comment at 347-633-9609.
