Jerry L. Green of the Southern California Black Business Expo joins Sharifah Hardie to discuss the expo, the directory, the SCBBE community calendar, The Black Student Advocate, Serving the People (Non-Profit), Juneteenth and more!

After a 12 year career in the United States Air Force, Jerry explored several career paths and finally determined that working directly with community projects and members was exactly where he needed to be. He was involved in the initial planning and strategizing for the Moreno Valley Black Chamber as an Advisory Board Member for two years and then he accepted the Chairperson position in October 2006.

While serving on the Moreno Valley Advisory Board and developing his strong community ties, Jerry affiliations through his Real Estate Brokerage (Homes4Life R. E. Team, Inc.) and noting key indicators that the California Real Estate market was changing in a downward trend, he decided to concentrate more effectively on his marketing company, 4LifeEnterprises.com.  After extensive market research, Jerry decided to launch the Inland Empire Black Business Directory and Resource Guide.  A directory designed to help Black Business increase sales to Black consumers.  In December of 2007, to ready for National exposure and opportunities, Jerry determined it was best to change the name of the directory to Black Business Resource and Networking Directory (The Black B.R.A.N.D.).

In July 2013, Jerry once again re-invigorated the directory renaming it, the Southern California Black Business Expo (Directory, Website, Radio, Expo and Phone App) as a one-stop product providing advertising, educational and community information and as a marketing resource for Black Businesses to directly reach the Black consumer in Southern California and now, nation-wide.
