“God laughs, and God plays,” a wise man has been known to say, and currently Regan spends her time coordinating US Godly Play Training and operations administration for the Godly Play Foundation and leading Godly Play sessions wherever she is invited to do so. Godly Play opened doors for Regan in both the other realm and this one, and in October 2013 she became a Postulant for the Episcopal Diocese of Oregon. Having started a Certificate in the Spiritual Guidance of Children at General Theological Seminary, Regan will pursue an M.Div. at the University of the South’s School of Theology in Fall 2014.

Regan grew up in a little Oregon town and attended Portland’s Jesuit High School. Ever the mountain girl, she went to the University of Colorado at Boulder for a BA in Psychology and then moved to New York City to fulfill her Marjorie Morningstar dream. Regan spent the last 12 years back in Oregon and was actively involved in the Godly Play and Listening Post programs at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. Along with her brilliant husband Paul, her amazing daughters Cecilia (9) and Genevieve (3) and their three cats, Regan recently moved to beautiful Sewanee, TN where her husband was called to the School of Theology’s Beecken Center.
