As-Salaam-Alaikum (God’s Peace upon You),

We feel the effects of the carnage of yet, another mass-shooting, at the hands of a madman. President Trump referred to a scene of “hatred and evil”, while we all can expect the round-robin of calls for “gun control”. But, it should be obvious, that the souls of a lot of folks, are wounded, corrupted and in real need of healing and redemption.

It would be interesting, if this murderer did indeed pass all of the qualifications to own a firearm, which he undoubtedly used, against, rather than for justice.  Whenever the liberal news outlets like MS-MBC, cover these tragedies, I get this real sense, that behind their “concern”, their real thought it to politicize this, on behalf of the Democrats.

Is there going to be proactive amnesty for illegal aliens? That’s how it’s sounding to me.  One thing I give the democrats, though, they know how to fight to the bitter end; just imagine if they had Congress (which could happen, in November). The GOP, still falling for the “ist” slurs, just can’t seem to deliver the knockout blows on this and other issues.

As I’ve yet to cover anything about Black History Month, I hope to cover Minister Omawale Malik Shabazz, AKA Malcolm X, as the 21st marks the 53rd anniversary of his untimely murder, which in a real sense, represents a void within the black community, that has yet to be fully healed.

Speaking of illegal immigration, we had a lively exchange last Saturday, as some put to question, my sense of compassion.

In the words of President Donald J. Trump, “Americans are dreamers, too”.
