ASA,

A federal appeals court recently struck down Texas' voter I.D. law, claiming as have others, that it unfairly disenfranchises black and Hispanic people's "right" to vote.

With other similar cases, we've endured rhetoric that suggests that black people, especially our elders, don't have money or access to acceptable forms of identification, such as birth certificates (are we talking 1865, when presumably and understandably this was much more of a reality?).

Why do we accept as fact, that blacks and Hispanics are so shiftless and nondescript?

Why do liberals seem to gleefully promote this mentacide?

Regarding our fallen sister, Sandra Bland, who died in a Texas jail, reportedly of suicide, while I would say she did not exercise the best judgment when encountering the police officer, in light of more recent information, her anger was understandable.

It appears that the officer was targeting her before her traffic "violation".

I want to know what exactly happened to her at the station, which led her to such a desperate measure (and YUP, you know exactly where I'm coming from!)?

What can we learn from all of this?

What can black people expect, in our already tenuous relationship with the police, in light of this and their own being gunned down by black citizens?

Not a very rosy picture, if you ask me.

But, you must see this clip:
