Making Stirdes Against Breast Cancer - The WALK

On Sunday, October 16, 2011, The American Cancer Society will sponsor its "2011 Making Strides of Newark NJ" walk against  breast cancer.

On A New Day 4 Al-Islam Aftershow, we will speak with Brother Saleem Shareef of Newark, who will share with us his passion and vision in this regard. He will also let the audience know how we can participate in this noble effort.

In the United States, White women have the highest incidence rate for breast cancer, although African American/Black women are most likely to die from the disease. Breast cancer incidence and death rates are lower for women from other racial and ethnic groups than for White and African American/Black women.
