Reggie Whitehead, was born and raised in Miami. Reggie has been compared to many song and dance men. At one moment he can sing, dance and act like Andre DeShields and Ben Vereen, at the next turn his silky voice brings back memories of Nat King Cole, at other times he is said to be in a class of his own.Reggie believes that his involvement in theater actually began when he was a little boy and saw the movie version of Porgy and Bess, starring Sammy Davis, Jr. After watching Sammy as Sportin Life, Reggie wanted to be a member of the entertainment community and perhaps one day play the role of Sportin Life in Porgy and Bess. It was not until recently that he was fortunate enough to land that role in Porgy and Bess, plus do it on a tour that took him to St. Petersburg and Moscow, Russia; Warsaw, Poland, Greece, Estonia and Latvia. Reggie began in this business as a ballet dancer but soon wanted to sing as well as dance. His first professional job was The Leading Player in Pippin, a role that he has always received rave reviews. Reggie is known as a singer, dancer, actor, choreographer and director. In fact, he won a Curtain Up Award for Best Director of a Musical for a production of Fat’s Waller’s Ain’t Misbehavin. This same production also won a Best Musical Curtain Up Award. In 2007, Reggie received a Carbonell for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical (The Full Monty), for the role of Horse. Sayblee Darsale was born in Liberia, West Africa. She has been a natural hair care specialist for twelve years. Sayblee is owner and master stylist at Sayblee Darsale Salon Coconut Grove ,Florida, where her knowledge and passionfor styling is well known by her diverse clientele. A board member of The Beauty School of America, she educates cosmetologists by sharing her expertise in the area of natural hair.
