Today we talk with the Richard and Maude Ferry Foundation, which promotes dignity and quality of human life. Our focus will be on three of the foundation’s initiatives Maude’s Awards, Maude’s Ventures, and The Memory Hub. Our guests include Richard Ferry, Quentin Orem, Marilyn Raichle, and Marigrace Becker.

Maude’s Awards mission is to enrich the quality of life for persons living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and their care partners by celebrating and inspiring innovative practices of care and sharing these practices with the wider dementia care community. Win 5k or 25k. Applications close May 16th.

Maude’s Venture’s mission is to invest in people who want to build new ways to meet the needs of the dementia community. Every year they offer seed funding of $50,000 - $100,000 for individuals, nonprofits, and for-profits to help them develop new ideas to improve the lives of caregivers and people living with dementia. Applications close July 14th.
