Get to know Victor

Victor Arias, Jr is a Senior Client Partner at Korn/Ferry International and focuses on executive search assignments in the higher education, real estate, consumer/hospitality and Board Services areas.  Victor has 15 years of experience conducting senior executive and board search assignments for large and medium sized companies and organizations nationally.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry International, Victor was partner at top executive search firms where he also served as Co-Managing Partner of the Global Diversity Practice in the Americas. Prior to his executive search career, Victor was Executive Vice President of Marketing for the Las Colinas development in Dallas and also as a Vice President of La Salle Partners in Chicago.

He has executed numerous successful senior-level searches for companies ranging from medium-sized startups to major global firms, while leveraging his knowledge of the Latin American market and expertise in diversity.

Currently he serves as a Director of Popeye’s Chicken & Biscuits (since 2001), which is based in Atlanta and traded on NASDAQ.  He is a former director of the New America Alliance and former member of the Frito-Lay Hispanic Advisory Board.

He is a Trustee emeritus on the Stanford University board of trustees and a member of the Stanford GSB Advisory Council and the UTEP Development Committee.  Additionally, he is on the University of Notre Dame Institute of Latino Studies Advisory Council.

Victor  was a Co-founder of National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) and served as its National President.  He is also a past White House Fellows Commissioner. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from University of Texas at El Paso (where he was named Distinguished Alum in 2009) & an MBA from Stanford University.
