One of my favorite poems is written by Mr. Robert Frost, 'The Road Not Taken'. For those unfamiliar, the poem powerfully states that 'Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.' Today we will explore whether or not our success depends on our ability to follow the instruction and journey of others, or if we should make our trail. There is value in learning from the journey of others. There is also incredible value in taking risks. Ultimately, the decision comes down to our comfort with failure and our tolerance for risk. Forward this broadcast to anyone you know that is considering an unfamiliar professional move and is not sure what to do.
