I didn't get to touch these important pointers during the show but here are a few rules to follow if you are considering an open relationship:
1. COMMUNICATION - As with any relationship, communication is KEY. Both parties should communicate with each other and make sure they are both okay with the idea of an open relationship.
2. SET YOUR BOUNDARIES - Piggy backing on communication, make sure your boundaries are communicated with one another. Ask each other, what can we be sure never happens?
3. SAFE SEX - The most important of all!! PRACTICE SAFE SEX!!!
4. COMBAT JEALOUSY - As you can see, this is piggy-backing communication again. If there is any hesistance or any small feeling of jealousy with your mate conversing and possibly having a sexual relationship with someone else, DON'T DO IT!
5. LEAVE EX'S OUT OF THE EQUATION - As you will hear, the show's special guest is speaking from experience! EX's should be left in the past!!
