Honeybees

In this episode, Dr. Livesay discusses an article that was recently published in the Agronomy Journal.  The rest of the episode focuses on honeybees! Special guests include Andy Joseph, state apiarist for the state of Iowa, as well as Dave Irvin, president of the east central Iowa beekeepers, and finally, Dynamite Grower, Tom Finnegan.  Dr. Livesay goes into great depth with some published honeybee research from around the world and explains the real world implications of that research as it relates to using honeybees as pollinators for commercial agriculture.  As always, Dr. Livesay concludes the episode with resources for those interested in this topic.
