 This week we talk to Hope Hollinsworth Coaxum has made her debut of “A Juicy Story” on April 26, 2008.  The book focuses on the life of a young girl growing up in the ghetto and how she gets caught up in the drug world. The character “Juicy” later finds out why her life has taken such a road and who has created this spiraling effect”.Hollinsworth Coaxum, has dedicated herself to volunteer work on domestic violence, peace walks and other social causes. She wrote "A Gift of Sunshine" to offer readers victimized by sexual predators a beacon of hope, 

We also discuss Brazilian politician, feminist, and human rights activist.Marielle Franco. Marielle Franco, a city councilwoman and human rights defender, arielle was widely known as a tireless and fearless advocate for the rights of Afro-Brazilians, LGBT people, women and low-income communities. A black woman born and raised in one of Rio’s poorest neighbourhoods, she campaigned relentlessly against spiralling police violence in the city’s favelas.
