William Gladstone is a Harvard University trained cultural anthropologist, Bill has developed a specific interest in researching the meaning of 2012 cross culturally. Of course we all know that the Mayan calendar ends in 2012 and Bill has plenty of research done in Mexico confirming the Mayan beliefs relating to 2012, but what is most interesting to him is that so many cultures including the Hopi, the Tibetan, the Hindu and the Hawaiian, to name a few, also believe that 2012 represents a cultural turning point or marker in their own culture. Not every culture has chosen this exact year, but many have indicated “these times.” Mainstream scientists in the fields of ecology and astronomy are also finding that “these times” are significant potential “tipping points” and “chaos points” and Bill has become an expert on all things 2012. He wrote a novel THE TWELVE based on much of his recent research and his websites planetchange.tv, planetchange2012.com and 12thebook.com are available for those interested in pursuing the meaning and purpose of 2012 as a cultural and perhaps scientifically based phenomenon.
