Chicago-born D'BREEON has been playing piano and saxophone since he was six years old. His mother, concert pianist Parrea Wilson, was his first teacher. Starting as a featured bongo player in the movie “The Mary Thomas Story”, he progressed to become a regular solo performer at the Cotton Club in Chicago. While in college, he studied under renowned Jazz-bassist Richard Davis at the University at Wisconsin, Madison. Through Davis, D’BREEON met Stanley Jordan and performed with him at local concerts as part of his national tour.
