Oliver G. McGee III is a teacher, a researcher, an administrator, and an advisor to government, corporations and philanthropy. Appointed by former U.S. President William Jefferson Clinton, McGee is the former United States (U.S.) Deputy Assistant Secretary of Transportation for Technology Policy at the U.S. Department of Transportation. He also served as Senior Policy Analyst (1997-1999) in The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
 
Alex B. Berezow is the editor of RealClearScience. His work has appeared on CNN, and in USA Today, Forbes, and The Economist among other publications. In 2010, he earned a Ph.D. in microbiology from the University of Washington. Originally from southern Illinois, he currently lives in Seattle.
