With AIDS, Hepatitis, drug overdoses, cancers and other illnesses associated with partying hard over two generations, so many of us have been raised in one parent homes, grandparent upbringings, maybe even foster care due to two major eras that had an impact on our parent's social decisions. With drug and alcohol abuses being prevalent in the social scenes during the 1970's and 1980's as a form of escapism while being black in America, generations were taken out by the diseases associated with their addictions. We want to open up the floor to the orphans (surviving children) of the loved ones who fell victim to the era of disco. Let's introduce the topic, build with the listening audience via phone or chat. We'll bring forth some healing by the end of the show.
