Varges Thomas is a musician, producer, arranger, composer and entertainer from out of

Dayton, Ohio. His passion for music started at the early age of ten. He taught himself to play keyboards where he then later joined his brothers band as the keyboard player and background vocalist.

In the spring of 1983 the late Roger Troutman took interest and produced the group New Horizons which resulted in two albums on Columbia Records; the first titled album "Something New" resulted with the hit single "Your Thing is Your Thing" which hit the R & B Billboard's top 40 charts. With a follow-up album "Gonna Have Big Fun" in 1984.

After a 36 year hiatus from music, today Varges is back in the business with an old school sound for today's music lovers. He has five different songs with distinctive grooves from his Southern soul single "Give It To Ya", to the R&B of Ladies' Night and "Something Special" to the funk of "Let Me Play It" a tribute song acknowledging his mentor Roger, followed by the single "Juice" which will all be taken from his first-forthcoming CD titled Destiny.

The CD is comprised of old school, R&B, Pop, smooth jazz, Southern Soul, Steppin, and inspirational music displaying his versatility as a musician and record producer. So, if you are ready for something new to groove to and someone to party with; then book Varges Thomas for your next event.
