Djuan Corneilous Towner A.KA. Tony Parker Jr. was born on November 15, 1975 to Robbie Towner in St. Louis, MO where their family would relocate to Chicago, IL 3yrs later. With Chicago becoming his hometown he would later discover rap at the age of 8. He started his first rap group called “The Shock Masters” which consisted of himself, his older brother Cedric Towner, and two childhood friends from the neighborhood. At the age of 12, Tony would be faced with unfortunate family diversity. He as well as his brother and 3 younger siblings were placed into foster care. With these adjustments he took full advantage of furthering his musical sense by joining the church choir and learning to play the drums. From there school band at Paul Robinson High School where he attended. At the age of 15, his adoptive mother took him to his first music seminar. This would be when he really fell in love with music. As Djuan Towner aged he kept at it and produced and wrote many songs still now unheard. He has performed at different venues throughout Kenosha, WI bringing massive crowds like June Tenth, Chasers, Brat Stop, The All White Party and Carthage College under his first stage name “Westside”. He would later change his name to “Tony Parker Jr.” because he felt he needed something catchier. Tony Parker Jr considers himself as an Artist. He writes music geared towards an open age of listeners young and old. His style is laid back, upbeat and consistent with today’s era.

Tony Parker Jr. would like to give a word of advice. “If you have a dream, never give up, real dreams do come true. You just have to keep pushing and keep your faith, and eventually it’ll become your reality.”   TP
