Andrea Dean Van Scoyoc is a force of nature. Hailed as one of the most unique and twisted female Horror authors of the generation, she has blazed a path through a genre most often dominated by men. Her work has appeared in everything from magazines (online and in print) to websites and she herself has made many television and radio appearances. Writing in the Horror Sinisteria (which she is repeatedly mistakenly credited with originating) genre, Andrea has in recent years, turned to other works as well, including her mainstream pirate series The Grounds of Nachmasheeghan, her books for children (thanks to the births of a niece and two nephews), the Occult and even some paranormal/dark/Occult Non-Fiction. She is also known for her depraved and oftentimes brutal Erotica. Andrea also owns two of the most popular underground magazines, Twisted Dreams and Worlds Within Worlds Beyond, in circulation today. Andrea attends conventions and makes other public appearances where she loves to meet her fans, sign autographs and pose for pictures. Her fans are her life's blood and she credits them with her seemingly meteoric rise to fame as one of the leading presences in Horror writing, today. Andrea Says of herself, “ I am a genuine Empath (not the bullshit you see on TV) a published author on the paranormal with two immensely popular books on the market, have been on numerous (that were made to be legit because I swore I'd bust the guides if they faked anything) I am usually sought after for anything paranormal related. Oh and yeah...I not only grew up in a haunted house, my present house is haunted and our ghostie is something else, doing everything from pitching things off the bed and tormenting my familiar, to hiding things to messing up movies that have been shot at my house.
