The fifteenth in a series, the African-American Men Survey gauges the views and experiences of African-American men with respect to marriage and family, education, careers, and health, and includes comparisons to the views and experiences of African-American women and white men and women. According to the survey of 2,864 randomly selected adults nationwide, African-American men report the same ambitions for career success, a loving marriage, children, and respect as most Americans, yet are more critical of other black men, associating black men in general with irresponsibility and crime.
