Many times the best-intentioned therapist/trainer/coach isn't getting many results. Working on the biomechanics and behavioral aspects is great as well as working with the Nervous System.
However, as we look at the nervous system we realize that while it runs the body, it also interacts bi-directionally with other systems, in particular the endocrine and immune systems. This NEUROENDOCRINE-IMMUNE axis is the trio that has the real influence in the body.
We will discuss that as we interact with our patients/clients/athletes, we may be hitting walls even if we are focusing on the Nervous system. Including the Endocrine and Immune systems in our INTERACTION can yield greater results.
