Today we have special guests Shalanda Moten and Christina Howard who are on the mission to empower young adults in preventing domestic and dating violence. Shalanda Moten serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the Dating Violence Prevention Center—a new Atlanta area non-profit that prevents dating violence through community education. Christina Howard, a 24hrmom and the President of Better Choices for Better Beginnings is on a mission to empower young adults in preventing domestic and dating violence.As The President/Founder Christina has experiened domestic violence numerous times in her young adulthood.Christina will share how she had to deal with the murders of two of her closes friends as a result of domestic violence. Christina will telll a personal story of the unthinkable that happened to her own family.
