The 24hrmom Show- Keisha Rivers- Taking Small Business Owners to The Next Level

Educated at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and College of Education and the University of New Orleans, Keisha A. Rivers-Shorty holds an undergraduate degree in education, and a Master's degree in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in teacher leadership and development. From her years as an educator, adjunct instructor, Executive Director of a private foundation, entrepreneur, writer, presenter and speaker, Mrs. Rivers-Shorty has combined years of experience into a successful model of training, learning, communicating and organizational development that she can now share easily and facilitate seamlessly for multiple organizations through the formation of The KARS Consulting Group, LTD and The Art, Science and Psychology of Communication--Style and Substance. Mrs. Rivers has launched a national, 41-city Women's Empowerment Tour and awarding $5,000 Empowerment Grants to women across the country who would either like to start their own nonprofit or small business or wish to expand an existing one. She currently resides in Augusta, GA with her husband and partner of twenty years and their family of rescued dogs.
