Dr Simutanyi is the Excecutive Director at the Center for Policy Dialogue (CPD), he joins us on the show to give analysis of the electoral process and also discuss fears of anticipated violence in the event of a loss by the main opposition party. There are claims by opposition Patriotic Front (PF) that they expect the elections to be rigged in favour of the ruling MMD. These allegations have the potential of raising voter apathy.
Dr Simutanyi will give us an update on the elections and reports on the elections by International observers who are expected to release their reports on the elections on Thursday and Friday 22nd and 23rd September 2011. He will also discuss methods and strategies that were employed by his organization to conduct the controversial opinion electoral polls
