Fashion Designer Melissa Prendergast

I have wanted to be a fashioned designer since I was just 13 years old. My grandmother introduced me to the love of sewing at the young age of 9 and I was hooked.  Flash forward several years to when I became a mom to the cutest, sweetest little girl, Isabella. Her vivacious spirit and love for life inspired me to start designing again, and Bella Sunshine Designs was born.

Since then, I’ve had another baby girl named Lilly.  Both my babies give me so much inspiration to pull from.  My designs focus on bringing light and joy to life.  Simple clean lines with a little flair. A tiny bit old-fashioned, but still young and fresh.  Classic with a modern twist!

So many things are in the works behind the scenes at Bella Sunshine Designs.  We are constantly evolving.  We have plans to innovate the sewing world one pattern at a time.  Thank you to all of those that have been cheering us on from the very beginning.
