                 Child Sexual Abuse

Cases of child abuse are far too common within our communities. On average, at least 6 children  each day are reported to have been abused, including rape and murder in Jamaica. There are over 57,000 reports made of the same maltreatment of the last 7 years. and many more go unreported.

While precise legal definitions vary across the United States and other countries , child abuse can broadly be defined as an act—or failure to act—that results in a child's serious harm or risk of harm, including physical or emotional harm, exploitation or death.

Children are the some of the most vulnerable members of our society, mainly because of their dependence on others to get their needs met. And sadly, in the majority of cases, the adults that children depend on are the ones responsible for abusing them.

Join me on Monday, February 20, 2017 @ 7:30pm EST, when I share disturbing news about Child molestation, rape and murders in Jamaica- island paradise to many.
