Tonight in SURVIVORS WORLD, please join Guest Host Butterfly Helper and Sexual Abuse Survivor, writer, and advocate Faith McDaniel for the discussion: HOW WE CAN ALL HELP. You may remember Faith when she was a guest as Feature Survivor on Wednesday, February 26, for a discussion on "Triggers, Emotional Manipulation & Abuse, continued Tolerance & Ongoing Abuse."
As many of us are aware, April is CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION AND SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS MONTH.
We call ourselves survivors and we call ourselves advocates as we speak out against the injustices that occur in our society every day. So, the questions remain of what we, as survivors and advocates, can do to be more involved? How can we help each other? How do we seek the assistance of others to become more active as well as what is involved? What can individuals do who want to reach out and are unsure where to start? What is going on in your community? How do you balance life and advocacy work?
To answer these questions and more, join us in the chat room as other Butterfly Helpers and survivors gather, share, and heal together. Feeling vocal? You are invited to call in at 347-215-7754 and share your ideas of HOW WE CAN ALL HELP. Have an event in honor of CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION AND SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS MONTH, call us or share in the chat room! Alone we are a whisper. Together we can ROAR!
We are connecting hearts and holding hands around the world to build a better world tomorrow. Not a professional psychological or therapeutic program. Please contact to connect with a local resource of help in your area.
