Let's get acquainted with YOUR trauma and understand how certain specific wounds impact your internal functions This is a continuation of Monday evening's chat about the use of Psychotropic Medications; along with our special guest co-host  Ms. Lynn C. Tolson as our guest co-host. Lynn is an Author/Advocate/Survivor & Creator of 'Telling Everyone About Rape & Suicide'; also her own memoir 'Beyond the Tears - A true survivor's story'.

The emotional wounding we struggle with throughout life can often lead to required medications, but what are these meds and how do they ease the struggles of daily life? Does enduring such things as vicious childhood violence or sexual attacks year after year (with no way to reject or protect yourself from the monster who sleeps and lives within the very same walls); does this make the impact of trauma so severe that we must walk through our lives zoned out on medications?

Can we help ourselves heal and release ourselves from the medications by UNDERSTANDING OUR TRAUMA WOUNDS?

In our 'normal' growth development there are challenges which may require us to bury these emotional wounds. However, most often when we get to be about 30 things can really start imploding. You find yourself trying to figure out 'WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU; why does life always feel like a rollercoaster ride? IT IS THE TRAUMA, is the wicked witch of your inner wounding trying to tell you something's wrong, but it seems all society and the medical profession want to do is silence you with meds, rather than face the darkness of your silent hell?

Call in or join the chatroom as we look at some of these specific trauma wounds and how they impact our life.
