'Keeping It Real' throught Child Abuse Prevention Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we've added this additional broadcast program. Tonight we welcome A.D.A. Ms. Jill Starishevsky to our show.

Jill has 15 years of experience prosecuting Child Abuse and Child Sex Crimes in New York City. She is also the author of 'My Body Belongs to Me'. This is an excellent book to begin teaching your child as young as 3 how to protect themselves from Sexual Abuse and how to tell you if someone is harming them. Jill is also a leader in the upcoming event, The Innocence Revolution, being held in Washington D. C. to bring attention to the many voices of survivors across the country and increase the pressure on our politicians to reform laws and protect our children. It is a great pleasure to speak with Jill again and bring all of her accomplishments in protecting our kids forward so you too can share. We all have the ability to do something every day to help our kids, opening up the door to communication, education, and teaching them their value as a person and belief in their own voice are the first steps at helping prevent abuse throughout their life. Please share the show with your friends and family, your neighbors and your coworkers. Each voice in this arena will help protect another child and provide hope for a better, safer, world for them tomorrow. You can call our show live at 347-215-7754 or join in our always busy chat room. We welcome your feed back and hope you share your ideas for upcoming broadcasts. We want to know what you want to hear about. Many may know that Trish McKnight is the author of her own true story of a life trapped in abusive hell, either by parents or in relationships. It is for the influence it had on her own children that she is so passionate about what she does today. You can purchase your copy of 'My Justice' through most online resources or by visiting Butterfly Dreams Abuse Recovery.
